Our sweet boy…our Cheeky Monkey…will be 19 on July 21st. If he was still living, he would have graduated from high school last year. As his mom, I often wonder if he would have gone to college and what his dream job would have been. Would he have a girlfriend and would he like the Pittsburgh Pirates baseball team just as much as his dad. I miss him terribly but I am also thankful that he is no longer in pain of any kind, and that his wheelchair is no longer needed. I bet he runs fast! When I get sad, I turn my focus to him running fast on those streets of gold.
In celebration of Braden’s 19th birthday, we are holding a birthday bash to raise money for a cure. We are very close to clinical trials. Wouldn’t it be cool to say one day that your donation was part of finding a cure?! 100% of your donation goes to research too.
We made Braden a promise that we would keep fighting for a cure. Please consider joining us in lighting up Braden’s birthday cake to make it glow so brightly that a cure will be found for his friends who are still living. All donations are tax deductible.
