As John turns 12 this year, Jimmy and I are feeling so incredibly grateful for our time with John. Many of you may know that children diagnosed with MECP2 Duplication Syndrome all too often don’t make it this far. We’re also feeling hopeful this year because the CURE MDS research is entering clinical trials. This means that we’re not looking to find the cure anymore, we’re now looking to FUND THE CURE! How exciting!!
We are asking you to partner with us to give John the best birthday gift he will ever receive…..a chance to receive life-saving treatment which could be available for children with MDS in the near future through generous financial support. What would that practically look like for John? No more seizures. No more hospitalizations. Regaining skills he’s lost like walking, eating, playing, and even – one day – talking!
