Over the past six months I have been working one on one with a client of mine by the name of Rowan Brooks. Rowan is an amazing husband and father to a beautiful two year old girl by the name of June. June was recently diagnosed with Rett Syndrome, a rare genetic disorder that affects brain development and causes problems with movement, communication, and coordination. Unfortunately, there is no cure for this disease, but the goal is to raise awareness, aid in therapy, and help fund the discovery of a reversibility to this syndrome.
June and many others are fighting hard every day, so I was inspired by Rowan and June to join the fight. I am traveling to Texas to run the Austin Half Marathon on February 19th. I have set a goal to raise $5,000 for June and all of the warriors fighting this disease. I would appreciate it if you joined me in this fight!
