We have been overwhelmed by the wonderful generosity and compassion of so many friends and family. We decided to raise our goal to $50,000 so we have an even bigger impact on Himani’s life and the lives of the 350,000 other girls and women with Rett Syndrome.
Himani was diagnosed with Rett Syndrome in May, 2018 just 3 weeks before her 3rd Birthday. Both of us being doctors like any other parent realized the difficult situation ahead of us, but we refuse to give up hope for Himani. With that in mind, we have decided to do our part in helping to find a cure for Rett Syndrome.
The research is very promising, and with continued progress and sufficient funding, it’s possible that there could be treatments and maybe even a cure for Rett in the near future. We have become involved with a non-profit organization called “the Rett Syndrome Research Trust (RSRT)”. Through this campaign we are asking you to join us in supporting RSRT and the search for a cure. Your donations will lead to a better future for Himani and thousands of other children with Rett Syndrome.
Thank you all.
